BRENTWOOD, TN
Bonnie Bradley, age 86, of Roxbury, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, in Brentwood, TN.
Bonnie was born on April 28, 1938, in Bridgeport, CT, to the late Ina Trivers Bradley and J. Kenneth Bradley. She grew up in Westport, attending the Bolton School before continuing her education at Smith College. Bonnie made her home in Westport, where she raised her children and was deeply involved in the community. In 1999, she moved to Roxbury, where she continued her lifelong passion for service.
Bonnie’s dedication to giving back was evident in all she did. She served as President of the Junior League of Greater Fairfield County, was a valued board member of the Roxbury Senior Center and Friends of the Library, and most recently, shared her love of history as a docent at the Glebe House in Woodbury. Known for her kindness, warmth, and joyful spirit, Bonnie inspired all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Deborah B. Donnelly. She is survived by her brother, James Bradley; her children, Brad Colby of Boca Raton, FL, Stuart Weise of Brentwood, TN, and Wendy Bradley of Woodstock Valley, CT; and her granddaughter, Ainslie Bradley Tschamler.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Roxbury Congregational Church, 24 Church St, Roxbury, CT. For those who cannot attend, the service will be available to view on ZOOM. The link is at the end of the obituary. Burial will follow at Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main St, Westport, CT.
