Obituary of Donald E. Riley

STAMFORD, CONN Donald Eugene Riley, age 90 of Stamford, Connecticut passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Donald was born in Queens, New York and is a graduate of Fordham University. He had worked for many years at IBM and Xerox where he undertook two foreign assignments to Paris and London. He most recently resided at Benchmark Senior Living where the staff took remarkable care of him for 17 years. He is survived by his brother, Dennis Riley (Bonita), five children, Susan Riley, Donald Riley (Lena), David Riley (Jennifer), Nancy Bieder and Cindy Riley (Michael), 12 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 27 at 10:30 AM at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06905. Further details to follow. Entombment will be held privately at Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main Street, Westport. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Stamford, CT.
