Base of single monuments or slant markers:
Size of Base:
a. Width of base shall not exceed 28 inches
b. Depth of base shall not exceed 16 inches
c. Height of base shall not exceed 12 inches
Finish of Base:
d. Front of base may be rock-pitched, not exceeding one inch projection or depression or may be steeled, axed or polished.
e. If base measures more than 14 inches in depth, back must be steeled, axed, polished or sawed smooth. If base measures 14 inches or less in depth, back may be rock-pitched not exceeding one inch projection or depression.
f. Ends may be steeled, axed, polished, sawed smooth or rock pitched not exceeding one inch projection or depression.
g. No fully polished bases will be permitted.
h. Projection (wash) must have at least 2-inch projection on all sides.Die of Single Monument:
Size of Die:
a. Width of die shall not be more than 24 inches nor less than 16 inches.
b. Depth of die shall not be more than 12 inches nor less than 8 inches.
c. Height of die shall not be more than 4 feet nor less than 2 feet.
d. The height of the die cannot be more than twice the width of the die.
e. If height of the die is over 42 inches, depth of die shall not be less than 10 inches.
Finish of Die:
f. Front must be steeled, axed or polished
g. Back must be steeled, axed , polished or sawed
h. Ends and top may be steeled, axed, polished, sawed smooth or rock pitched not exceeding one inch projection or depression.Base of Double Monuments:
Size of Base:
a. Width shall not exceed 4 feet 6 inches including the rough.
b. Depth shall not exceed 20 inches.
c. Height shall not exceed 15 inches.
Finish of Base:
d. Front of base may be rock-pitched, not exceeding one inch projection or depression or may be steeled, axed or polished.
e. If base measures more than 15 inches in depth, back must be steeled, axed, polished or sawed smooth. If base measures 15 inches or less in depth, back may be rock-pitched not exceeding one inch projection or depression.
f. Ends may be steeled, axed, polished, sawed smooth, or rock pitched not exceeding one inch projection or depression.
g. No fully polished bases will be permitted.
Projection (wash):
h. Must have a projection of not less than two inches in the front and in the rear.
i. Must have a projection of not less than three inches on each end.Die of Double Monuments:
Size of Die:
a. Width of die shall not be more than 4 feet nor less than 2 feet 6 inches.
b. Depth of die shall not be more than 12 inches nor less than 8 inches.
c. Height of die shall not be more than 4 feet nor less than 2 feet.
d. The height of the die cannot be more than twice the width of the die.
e. If height of the die is over 36 inches, depth of die shall not be less than 10 inches.
Finish of Die:
f. Front must be steeled, axed or polished.
g. Back must be steeled, axed , polished or sawed.
h. Ends and top may be steeled, axed, polished, sawed smooth or rock pitched not exceeding one inch projection or depression.Footstones:
a. Shall not be more than 24 inches in width. Less than 24 inches in width must be approved by the Association.
b. Must be 12 inches in depth.
c. Must not exceed 18 inches in height.
Finish of footstones:
a. Front and top must be steeled, axed or polished.
b. Ends and back may be steeled, axed, polished, sawed smooth or rock pitched, not to exceed one inch projection or depression.
c. Bases under footstones are not permitted.
d. All footstones must be duplicates of original footstones erected on plot.Corner Markers:
a. All monument installation must be accompanied by matching corner markers depicting the initial of the last name of the property owner, unless already existing in the same owned plot. All corner markers must be granite and will be installed flush with the turf by the Association.
Size of granite corner markers:
b. Single grave 4’ x 4’ square x 6” minimal. Two or more graves side by side.
c. Family plots 8' x 8' sq. minimal x 6” min. up to 10' x 10' square x 6” min.Infant/Children Marker:
a. Granite markers or bronze plaques mounted to a granite base may be used. Slant markers upright bases and die is allowed. (See guidelines for single monuments.)
