Obituary of Sarah A. Kennedy

LAKELAND, FL

Sarah A. Kennedy of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Westport, CT died peacefully at home, surrounded by family after a long illness.

She was a 1959 graduate of Staples High School and a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She was an accomplished, highly recognized jeweler for over 50 years here in Westport, where she owned and operated Cellar Workshop. Sarah was a creative and spirited artist who loved traveling, gardening and animals.

She was predeceased by husband Jack W. Kennedy and survived by her companion Mark Wilson, her brother Ian Goldy of Riverdale NY, her two daughters Michele Mottola of Marblehead, MA , Sherry Schultz of Minneapolis, MN and three cherished grandchildren.

Private entombment here at Willowbrook Cemetery took place on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.  Public services haven't been announced.

The David Russell Funeral Home of Lakeland, FL directed arrangements.
