STRATFORD, CONN

Anthony “Tony” Trerotola age 72, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Tony was born in the Bronx, New York to the late Carmine and Catherine (Jacabacci) Trerotola. Tony was a devoted father and grandfather, he enjoyed watching his grandsons on the baseball and football fields even following their teams all the way to New Jersey for the World Series. Tony enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and New York Giants games with his son Anthony. Although Tony was all about his grandsons and sports, he was ecstatic when he found out that he was having his first granddaughter.

Survivors include his devoted children, Gina Fuentes and her husband Michael and Anthony Trerotola, as well as his five grandchildren, Mikey, Vinny, Jayden and Olivia Fuentes and Mason Trerotola,  his brother, Bobby Trerotola and several nieces, nephews and other cherished family members. Tony was predeceased by his beloved sister Marylou Rodriguez. 

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd at 9:00 A.M.  directly at St. Augustine’s Cathedral in Bridgeport, CT, 359 Washington Ave. Interment will be in Willowbrook Cemetery in Westport.

Friends and family may greet the family on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, CT.
