Obituary of Valerie M. Gannon

NORWALK, CONN Valerie Marcia Gannon, 79 of Norwalk, died on September 2, 2022 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in England, the daughter of William and Lily (Overton) Fletcher, she was the loving wife of the late Patrick J. Gannon. She was also predeceased by her brother Stuart Fletcher. She was a teacher's aide at All Saints School, and enjoyed knitting, Bingo and word search puzzles. She is survived by her son Kevin Gannon, and her brother Andrew Fletcher and sister Wendy Fletcher, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends on Thursday (TODAY) from 5-8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 at St. Philip Church, 25 France Street, Norwalk, with entombment to follow at Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport.
